At Cato we have the notion that church ought to be about God. We believe we exist for Him, and not He for us. Therefore, His glory is our primary concern in all things. We desire to exalt His name and advance His cause in everything we do. We want all those around us to see how great and awesome God truly is. We seek to have our highest joy, delight, and treasure in knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known.

 

To that end, we give ourselves to the preaching and teaching of the Bible, God's very Word. We are on a journey, a journey to be as much like the true church of the Bible as possible. We are seeking to conform ourselves and our church to the pattern of Scripture. The reason is simple, the more like the Scripture we become, the more His glory will shine in us and through us. And that is what church should be all about.
